We are writing to you today with a heavy heart to seek your urgent assistance for a young boy named Pham Anh Khoi, who is courageously battling cancer in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
Khoi, a bright and cheerful 9-year-old, has had his life turned upside down by this cruel disease. His mother, the sole provider for their family, has had to quit her job to devote all her time to caring for him. To make matters worse, Khoi’s father abandoned them, leaving mother and son to face this challenge alone.
Despite undergoing rigorous treatments including chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple surgeries, Khoi remains optimistic and determined. He continues to attend school, even though his health is frail. Recently, his hair grew back, and he was able to return to school, but unfortunately, the cancer has returned and metastasized to his brain.
